Kebirn Rush was born and raised in Northern California. He entered the military after high school and spent six years serving in the United Stated Air Force. After his military enlistment he entered the University of San Francisco where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior. He completed his seminary training at Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Theology degree. Kebirn did further graduate work at the University of Dallas where he studied philosophy and earned a Master of Humanities degree. Kebirn married his wife Laurie in 1988 and they have three children, Alyssa, Christopher, and Andrew. Kebirn has served on the pastoral staff of churches in Northern California and North Texas. He came to Johnson City in November of 2003.
